It’s been a really tough few months for everyone and, I think, the experience of what the world is going through will change us all in one way or another. Despite the hardships, I think many of us also took this opportunity to reflect on our own lives and those of our families and question all of the things we deemed to be of extreme importance. Like rushing from one meeting to another, or taking the kids for all the after school clubs we could find. Instead, we just stayed at home and learned to appreciate each other more, spend more time together as families and get on each others nerves a little more than usual.
We all learned to appreciate what we have. For those lucky enough to have gardens, we learned to appreciate the confined outdoor space that was ours alone. For those with houses, we learned to make the most of the rooms and space available, and for those without either of these, we learned that having a small space is far easier to keep clean.
Many businesses, both large and small, have felt the financial impact of the last few months and almost every industry has been affected by it. For us, as a small business, we have also felt the impact but as with our personal lives, we adapted quickly to complete our ongoing projects and work with our customers as best we could (from a distance). We streamlined what we could and simply accepted what we couldn’t.
With many building projects put on hold or, at the very least, delayed, we had no option but to sit back and wait a while. We are now seeing things pick up again and are ready to get back into the full swing of things as we have always been about providing the very best Customer Service, so if our customers are asking for us, we will be there!
We are making appointments to see customers again from Monday 1st June 2020 and can’t wait to help them design and build a beautiful new kitchen for their homes. If we do end up in another lockdown, at least, they will have a lovely new kitchen to cook and relax in 🙂
So let’s enjoy our family life, appreciate what we have, and cook good food in our beautiful kitchens!
